Composer Biography
Kevin Bates is a Marist priest based in Sydney. For over 27 years his work has taken him all around Australia, working in school and parish communities within the Catholic Church and in other churches. Music-making and song-writing have always played key roles in Kevin's ministry with children. teens and adults. He is well known and well loved for his story telling and his music, which has the capacity to touch hearts of young and old alike. Kevin has numerous published works including the popular title, Our Supper Invitation, Many of his songs are included in the As One Voice collections and his music collections, published by Willow Publishing, include: A Journey Remembered CD, Blessed CD, Loves Sacred Frame CD and Threads CD.
