  Composer Biography


Tom Bolton's journey into music covers thirty years of songwriting, several years of gigs and festivals, a number of Australian national tours, airplay on numerous independent and college radio stations in two dozen states and provinces of USA and Canada, and a swag of very warm reviews for his two albums. His second album, "When I Cross the River" (released in November 2007) charted in the US-based Roots Music Report Top 50 for May 2008.His songs carry hints of everything from Richie Havens, Jefferson Airplane, Cat Stevens and Nick Drake, through to David Sylvian, REM and beyond.Tom's third album is currently being produced by one of Australia's finest acoustic roots musicians, Nick Charles, and should be ready for release early 2010.A selection of Tom's sacred songs for children have been included in As One Voice for Kids.
