Composer Biography
Danielle and Mark Lupi are singer/songwriters from Melbourne. They have been writing contemporary Catholic Music together for over 10 years. Mark has played professionally and sung in various bands and is a virtuoso of many instruments. Mark's musical influences include the Beatles, Abba and Billy Joel. Danielle's roots have been in musical theatre as well as band work. She has performed in a number of musicals and is a highly skilled praise and worship leader. They perform their music, as well as their faith testimonies, at parish and youth events and are in regular demand. In 2009 they celebrated 16 years of marriage and the birth of their third child. They recently returned from living in Rome where they were asked to pen new compositions for the Emmanuel Catholic Charismatic Community. Danielle and Mark's songs cover many styles from ballad to rock to reggae. Their compositions reflect the moving journey of their faith and communicate the universal yearning to know Jesus more deeply and intimately. Many of their songs have been received in dreams and during prayer. Their songs appeal to people of all ages and stages of faith. Danielle and Mark's music can be heard on 89.9 Light FM Christian Radio. "He's Alive!" is a track from their latest CD entitled, "Magnificent".
