David MacGregor
Composer Biography
Married to Dale and with three young adult sons: Joel, Jeremy and Nathan, David has ministered in school, rural and provincial city contexts; most recent at the Anglican-Uniting EDUCANG schools, Forest Lake College and The Springfield College.
David's ministry passions are worship, music and ministry with children and young people. David has a longstanding interest in Christian Education which forms people for a life of worshipping, learning, witnessing, growing and serving God. He is both a member of the Assembly's Worship Working Group and a frequent writer of worship songs for all ages with much of this published.
In 2007 David completed his Master of Theology degree, his thesis focusing on the formative role of music in the worshipping community. David lectures on worship at Trinity Theological College, is Spiritual Director of Brisbane-West Emmaus Community, and chairs the Qld Synod Schools Commission. He is also a longstanding member of the Assembly's Worship Working Group.

In his 'spare' time, David enjoys travel, beach walking, a good 'coffee' with just about anyone, being a cricket & rugby league 'tragic', reading and making and listening to music of an incredible wide variety. |
