Megg Nicol
Composer Biography
Megg has written over 250 songs for TV, radio and CD release. Most notably for the BAFTA award winning series "Your Mother Wouldn't Like It!". She has written music and lyrics to three musical theatre lays; "Another One for the Road" and "To Your Good Health" commissioned by the Scottish Arts Council, plus songs for "Spike Milligan and Friends West End Show". She is a freelance music documentary producer for Radio 2 and teaches a Music In Industry BA module at Thames Valley University, London. Megg is also a Trustee of the British Academy's Composer & Songwriters Trust. Meggs compositions have been included in the popular 'Australian loss and grief programme, Season of Growth' and in As One Voice for Kid's. Megg lives in London with her partner and son.
