Copyright conditions for As One Voice

All music contained within the As One Voice collections including music accompaniment books, sound recordings, backing tracks, music accompaniments, sheet music, lyrics, digital files and downloads are subject to copyright protection. Our task is to protect the composers rights to fair dealing by providing clear guidlines relating to reproducing materials from any of the As One Voice publications or products.

Conditions apply to using 'as one voice'

Willow Publishing does not own or administer the copyright of all materials developed and sold under the As One Voice imprint.

Church Copyright agencies in australia and new zealand

There are three major church music copyright licencing agencies in Australia that provide churches and schools with licences for reproducing lyrics and music for use in worship and educational settings. These include:  

Word of Life International 
CCLI – Church Copyright Licence International 
LicenSing

Each of these agencies provide a number of different licences which enable legal reproduction of copyright music and lyrics. Please check with the agencies for detailed information regarding specific licences and the titles that are covered under their licences..

 

Please note, not all words and music in As One Voice publications are covered under each licence. 
 

People's editions

These songbooks contain melody lines and/or words only and are primarily designed to be used by the assembly. No further licence fees are required if original published editions are used.

 

Reproduction of the words and/or melody lines of the hymns and songs in these editions is permitted under the various licences however, not all copyright owners are publisher members of the copyright agencies in Australia. Therefore, users are obliged to carefully check to ensure that the songs/hymns from As One Voice are covered under their licence of choice.

 

No one church copyright agency covers all songs and hymns in As One Voice however a significant number are covered by the major agencies.

 

The As One Voice People's Editions i.e. Volume 1, Volume 2, the Combined Words Edition and the Kid's Edition  can be reproduced under each of the major licences such as the Word of Life Annual Restricted Copy Licence, CCLI Church Copy Licence and the Reproduction Licence (formally the Photocopy Licence) and LicenSing Annual Music Reprint Licence.  
 

Music Accompaniment and choral Editions

Reproductions of selected titles contained within As One Voice music accompaniment editions, guitar editions, instrument and/or choral editions are permitted under the CCLI Music Reproduction Licence. Please note, licence holders should check with CCLI before reproducing any music editions.  For each piece of music to be copied, the song owner must be on the Authorised Song Owner List, and the publication owner must be on the Authorised Publication Owner List. Willow Publishing is an Authorised Publication Owner and all Australian songwriters are on the Authorised Song Owner List.

Please note reproduction of music editions it is no longer permitted under the Word of Life Music Copy LIcence.

Liturgical Series - Digital Media Files

This resource is designed to be used in conjunction with each of the church copyright licences. The Digital Media files contain a variety of file formats. Please note that reproductions must be recorded and reported subject to the terms and conditions of the particular copyright licence. All Mass settings published by Willow Publishing are covered under each of the major licences for reproduction of texts and melody lines.

 

Liturgical Series - Sheet Music Downloads

Choral and instrument parts cannot be reproduced under the church licence programmes. Single sheet music copies must be purchased for each singer or instrumentalist.

 

mp3 Music Downloads

mp3 downloads are available for individual use only and must not be shared. It is a violation of copyright law to copy or give these files to another person  or to store them on an intranet.
